BABICHacoustics provided an architectural acoustics analysis and recommendations regarding the reverberation time (RT) of St. Thomas More University Parish church in order to improve speech intelligibility and music clarity within the space. The architecture of the room with concave rear wall surface caused sound focusing to the center of the space. Assistance was given to the church in selecting a contractor to install acoustical panels around the room to reduce reflections and improve room acoustics. Finally, noise from an air handler was analyzed and recommendations were made to improve the noise level within the space.
