This notice supplements the Privacy Policy of Babich Acoustics, LLC ("we," "our," or "us") and applies to visitors of https://babichacoustics.com.
Our Position
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We have not sold or shared personal information for monetary or other valuable consideration in the preceding twelve (12) months, and we do not sell or share the personal information of minors under sixteen (16) years of age.
What "Sell" and "Share" Mean
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, the "CCPA"), these terms are defined broadly:
"Sell" means disclosing personal information to a third party for monetary or other valuable consideration. It is not limited to exchanges of money.
"Share" means disclosing personal information to a third party for cross-context behavioral advertising — that is, targeting advertising to a consumer based on their activity across different businesses, websites, or services.
Neither term covers disclosures to service providers or contractors who process personal information on our behalf, under written contract, and only for the purposes we specify.
Our Use of Analytics Providers
Our website uses Squarespace Analytics and Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. These providers collect information such as IP address, browser and device type, referring source, and pages viewed, as described in our Privacy Policy.
We engage these providers as service providers under the CCPA. We do not use them to build advertising profiles, we do not enable advertising or remarketing features in our analytics configuration, and we do not disclose your personal information to them for cross-context behavioral advertising or any other consideration.
Your Rights
Even though we do not sell or share personal information, California residents have the following rights under the CCPA:
Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
Right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and — if applicable — sell or share.
Right to delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
Right to correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
Right to limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information. We do not collect or process sensitive personal information as defined by the CCPA.
Right to non-discrimination. We will not deny you goods or services, charge you a different price, or provide you a different level or quality of service because you exercised any of these rights.
How to Submit a Request
Because we do not sell or share personal information, no opt-out is necessary. However, you may submit a request to exercise any of the rights above by emailing us at info@babichacoustics.com with the subject line "California Privacy Request."
To protect your information, we will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before responding, which may include asking you to confirm details we already have on file. We will respond to verifiable requests within forty-five (45) days, and will notify you if we require an extension.
Authorized Agents
You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may require the agent to provide proof of your written permission, and may require you to verify your own identity directly with us.
Opt-Out Preference Signals
We honor opt-out preference signals, including the Global Privacy Control (GPC), transmitted by your browser or extension.
