BABICHacoustics provides architectural acoustics, noise and vibration control, environmental noise consulting, and testing and measurement services for public and private projects throughout North America.
Whether you are planning a new facility, renovating an existing space or trying to resolve a noise concern, we would welcome the opportunity to learn more about your project.
Sound advice for the built environment
BABICHacoustics works with architects, engineers, building owners, developers, contractors, municipalities and communities to address acoustical challenges throughout planning, design and construction.
Established in 2011, our firm combines technical analysis with clear, practical recommendations developed around the building design, project budget and intended use of each space.
Our goal is not simply to identify a problem. We help project teams understand the available options and incorporate effective acoustical solutions into the work.
How we can help
Architectural Acoustics
We provide recommendations for room acoustics, sound isolation, speech privacy, interior finishes and sound reinforcement coordination. Our work helps create spaces that support communication, concentration, learning, healing, collaboration and performance.
Environmental Noise Control
We complete pre-construction noise surveys, community noise studies, code and ordinance reviews, noise modeling and mitigation recommendations. Our work helps project teams evaluate how transportation, industrial operations, exterior equipment and other environmental sources may affect a facility or its neighbors.
Mechanical Noise and Vibration Control
Mechanical systems and building equipment can introduce unwanted sound and vibration into a space or surrounding community. We evaluate equipment noise, duct-borne sound, structure-borne vibration and related transmission paths to help project teams develop appropriate control measures.
Testing and Measurement
Field measurements provide objective information about existing acoustical conditions and completed construction. BABICHacoustics conducts acoustical testing and measurement to evaluate performance, investigate concerns, verify design goals and inform corrective recommendations.
