Hindsight is 2020

The pandemic has given all of us time to pause and think about the phrase business as usual. This is an unprecedented time. Everyone hopes that this new normal is not here to stay for the long term. In life, change is inevitable, but it can often be for the better. BABICHacoustics has recently had some great new project wins!

The early summer brought about a positive change in personnel. Mark Bartus was welcomed as a new Junior Associate! Mark finished his Masters of Arts in Audio Sciences from Johns Hopkins University in May 2020. He was an intern with us in 2019 - 2020 and it is exciting that he has returned to Pittsburgh full time!

After the Pennsylvania work-from-home mandate was lifted, the company moved to a new office location in the Regent Square neighborhood of Pittsburgh! It is exciting to be in an office along bustling South Braddock Avenue. A special thank you to everyone at Ascender the past two years to help grow the business before we found a more permanent home office.

The website has also recently gotten a new look. A special thanks to Associate, Lauren Shapiro, for her superb photography skills. All of us at BABICHacoustics look forward to continuing to work diligently to provide creative, thoughtful, and sustainable acoustics and noise control solutions!
